God’s safe.

This is a safe.  A torn up, rusty, open safe.  Whatever was in it, is not very safe.  Would you want to put your most prized possession in that safe?  Is that a good place to keep a priceless antique?  What about your life?  If you wanted to protect your life, I am sure you would not put it in the trust of that safe.  Even the slightest touch would make it swing open.  It is not at all serving the purpose of a safe.  Safe:  Stronghold, a safe place, haven.  Does those words describe the safe in the picture?  No.

God is the opposite of that safe.  He is a stronghold, safe place, haven, and so much more.  HE will never grow old and rusty, and fall off of the hinges.  He will never sit in the rain, eroding.  HE will stay strong, his combination uncracked.  He will stay bright and safe, you can trust him with everything.  HE will not be destroyed…EVER!
